Registration includes a 20’ x 30’ space and entry into the KCBS Masters Competition. Extra space available for an additional $25 (20’x40’) or $75 (20’ x 50’). No power available, please bring a generator.

Registration closes for the 2025 competition on Monday, September 29 at 4:30 PM.

KCBS Official Rules

Meat Inferno is a KCBS sanctioned barbeque competition held in downtown Edgerton, Kansas. Top five overall competitors will win a Meat Inferno trophy, banner, plus a commemorative check with their winnings. Top individual category winners will receive a trophy plus a banner. 2nd-10th Place will receive a ribbon in addition to their prize money.

Event Information:

Teams can check in between 8 AM-4 PM on Friday, October 3.

Teams must provide their own generator. NO POWER IS AVAILABLE.

Registration includes a welcome bag, complimentary breakfast sandwich and coffee, one swag item (t-shirt or hat) and one lapel pin. Extra t-shirts are available for purchase.

One-Meat Ribs Competition Information:

The one-meat ribs competition will be held on Friday, October 3. The cost is an additional $100 with KCBS Masters Series entry. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. First place will receive $300, second place will win $200, and third will be awarded $150. Awards will take place on Friday after the Kids Q awards ceremony.

Refund Policy:

Full refunds will be available until 11:59 p.m. on September 5. No refunds will be issued on or after September 6.
