7:05 PM: Kid-friendly Street Performance and Live Band

8 PM: Kids Q Awards
8:20 PM: Fire Performance

There will be two age groups of competition: Ages 5-9 and Ages 10-15. Age brackets may fluctuate based on registration

One adult helper per kid cook. The child must do the preparation, cooking, and presentation. Adult helper may give guidance, light the grill, and do any knife-work that is too dangerous for the kid cook. If adult helpers exceed these rules, the child could be disqualified from the competition. The adult must be present at all times with the kid cook until coals are extinguished and the cook area is clean. Further details will be provided via email to registered contestants. Judging will be based on appearance, flavor, creativity, and texture. Each sample will be scored on a 1-10 scale, with ten being the highest rating. Judging will be blind and will consist of local community VIPs.

No tobacco products, alcohol, or pets are allowed in the cooking area.

Each child’s guardian will be required to sign a liability and photo release before the event begins.
